This class is the perfect introduction to life on the farm! Our Little Farm Hand classes learn about farming through stories, activities, crafts, and real farm work. Your child(ren) will learn about the animals here on our farm through hands-on interactions from caring and feeding to unique opportunities like collecting chicken eggs, making mud for the pigs, and grooming goats and sheep.
In this class, your child(ren) are involved in the life cycle of plants on the farm—from planting seeds to harvesting and tasting. Along with these hands-on experiences, your child(ren) will also learn about farming, soil, water, and plants. A host of animal interactions are also included in this class as well!
Summer is for harvesting what you sow! Our Little Gardeners class strives to fill in the gaps of where our food comes from by offering experiences like harvesting vegetables from the garden. This farm to fork class will allow your child(ren) to take an active role in preparing the soil, planting, weeding, watering, harvesting and making the food they eat.
