Elementary School Fall Pumpkin Field Trips

Join us on the farm for your Fall School Field Trip!  Allow your students to experience farm life through animal encounters and farm-themed play!  Your students will experience hands-on learning here on the farm including how a pumpkin grows in our interactive educational Ag-class!

Booking Available in August

What's Included in Your School's Field Trip?

Our Fall School Field Trips allow your students to experience a real working farm, including a farm animal encounter area, and an Ag-Education class. To keep each visit personal and engaging, we schedule only one school per day. Each field trip follows a structured schedule designed to keep students engaged, organized, and moving smoothly through activities, helping ensure a fun, educational, and well-managed experience for everyone.

Your students will rotate through five (5) learning stations:

  1. Tractor-drawn Wagon Ride to the Pumpkin Field - Students will enjoy a wagon ride to the Pumpkin Field, where they will get to choose their own pumpkin to take home. They also have the chance to  see firsthand the Life-Science skills they are learning in the classroom.
  2. Animal Encounter Area - Everyone loves spending time with and feeding our adorable farm animals! What better way to learn the basic needs of animals and other Life Science standards than through hands-on interactions!
  3. The Barnyard Indoor Play Area - Our farm-themed indoor play area allows your students to explore farm life and agriculture related careers through their imagination and interactive play. The Barnyard Indoor Play Area features an animal veterinarian office, a farmer's market, a life-size climbing John Deere tractor, reading area, and an indoor obstacle course!
  4. Ag-Education Class - You and your students will learn everything there is to know about pumpkins through an interactive Ag class! Students will learn about the life cycle of pumpkins from the time they are small seeds until they grow into large pumpkins.
  5. Outdoor Playground - Students will have a blast playing on our climbing structure, swinging on our swings, digging in our dirt piles and so much more which even covers your P.E. standards!

Each student and staff member will receive 1 Kid scoop (4oz) of ice cream at the end of the field trip (included in the field trip pricing)
