Our Philosophy
Our Barnyard Buddies preschool classes are an extension of Willow Oak Farms'mission to provide hands-on learning experiences for children and families in a farm setting.
About Barnyard Buddies
Our Barnyard Buddies preschool classes are nature-based, allowing each child to lead through curiosity and play, while using the environment around them as a natural learning enhancer. Outdoor play develops creativity, confidence, and realistic risk evaluation while allowing for complete sensory immersion and physical development for your child.
Our classes take place outside on our farm daily, no matter the weather! This allows for a firsthand experience of the changing seasons and shifting weather throughout the year. We will experience all types of weather, sun, rain, and maybe even snow! Our hands-on farm experiences allow for your child to develop self-confidence, independence, and a deeper connection to the natural world around them. As most of our classes are teacher-directed, we encourage free exploration as well.
Preschool/Parent Farm School
Children ages 1-5 years old and their parent/guardian will spend 45 minutes to 1-hour in the morning exploring the wonders of the farm! Each week brings a new and exciting experience for your little one, from learning to care for and handle farm animals, collecting eggs, or creating farm themed crafts, there will always be something new for your child to see and learn about the farm!

Barnyard Buddies class sizes are limited to 10 students, plus siblings if applicable. We strive to keep class sizes small, to ensure a quality experience for all children!
*All children 1 to 5 years of age MUST have a purchased ticket to particpate.

Our Barnyard Buddies classes are $160.00 for a 5 week session. You and your child will attend farm class on your selected day and time for five consecutive weeks! We offer classes Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
*All children 1 to 5 years of age MUST have a purchased ticket to participate.
*One additional sibling cost is discounted to $130.00.
